VICTORY IN DEFEAT

Loss is oft portrayed to be inevitable in life
What adds misery to this phenomena
Is the dismissal of this proposition as the ultimate shortcoming
The paradigm has foolishly mislabelled defeat
The one who falls and stumbles is not mighty
They believed he couldn't seal greatness in his grasp
For losing didn't embody the spirit of a champion
Failing didn't lie on the way to glory, it was a path distinct
But little did they know of what losing truly signified
It was just another dark cloud with a silver lining
Never was it an embodiment of unjustified failure
And always carried a message to instil betterment
Did defeat not teach the way to pursue victory?
Much like autumn, losing is not what they want
But it is what they require unknowingly
He who has not lost does not exist
Greatness lies in learning to win, from the jaws of defeat
To scream at the heavens vowing that the mistake shall not repeat
