It is only after you fall that you learn to stand
It is only after you cry that you enter the world to laugh
It is only after the rain that we see the rainbow
It is only after the dark that we see the day
Then why allow the bad in life to eternally hold you at bay?
Nothing comes to stay, be it times good or bad
They fulfil each other's purpose they go hand in hand
For never can a man realise the true significance of joy
Until he has been tangled in the depths of sorrow
A man cannot perpetually rise and see no fall
The fall is by no means incessant, for the two encompass a limit
It is a topsy turvy world having ups and downs, turns and flats
The gravity of a situation is not one to dwell on for it is only short-lived
There is a rock bottom to every fall
Leaving the only way to move is to move up
Life is to find the will to continue in the face of the bad
To maintain the composure in the face of the good
To walk through life with dignified grace
Joy and Sorrow, Success and Failure, Rise and Fall
Mere instruments of god that he uses to maintain equilibrium
That enables us to appreciate the beauty of what we bear
